Here Arjuna continues his fall into delusion by justifying why there is no point in living, or in carrying out the mission that he had committed to carry out. In his confused state, his mind mixed up his personal relationships with his mission-wise relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here also we find how Arjuna has forgotten the original purpose of Mahabharatha battle. Now he says, purpose of Mahabharatha battle is to get all the pleasures and to give these pleasures to Bhi\u1e63ma, Dro\u1e47a, etc. Like that I want to accomplish all these things and to dedicate them to Bhishma and Drona and such people are going to be destroyed. Here, you find how Arjuna’s mind is clouded. The purpose of Mahabharatha war is not getting the kingdom and handing over to Bhi\u1e63ma and Dro\u1e47a. Very purpose of Mahabharatha war is fighting Adharma and whoever has joined Adharma, they have to be destroyed and if Bhi\u1e63ma and Dro\u1e47a have unfortunately joined them, they also have to be destroyed. This vision was very clear before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detachment to worldly assets is a commendable virtue. Even though Arjun\u2019s thoughts were moral and virtuous, they were not spiritual sentiments. They were budding out of compassion and attachment towards his relatives. Spiritual sentiments bestow peace, harmony, and happiness to a soul. However, Arjun\u2019s situation was not such he was disillusioned, confused, and losing control over his body and mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
